Become a blueberry farmer for the summer!
-
We’re a family-run organic blueberry farm in Cherryfield, Maine. We focus on community living, including working, cooking, playing, and relaxing together. We think of it like summer camp but with harvesting!
Our organic blueberry barrens span 200 acres across Cherryfield, Township 25, Wesley, and South Trescott, Maine.
-
Our blueberry harvest is typically from July 15th to September 5th, but we also have some pre-harvest work, from June 15th to July 15th.
*Ideally our interns stay for the whole season, but we require they stay for at least half. If these dates don’t work for you and you’re really excited to be on our team, send us a message and we’ll see if we can make it work!
-
We are looking for positive, hardworking, and enthusiastic people excited about living in a close-knit community! No experience is required.
-
We’re not just a job, we’re also a community; and as part of that we have some expectations, though we’re not a super strict place.
General expectations are:
✤ Being kind and respectful to everyone, no matter their race, gender, background, etc.
✤Maintaining clean and organized working and living spaces, participating in group meals and activities, and doing your best to contribute on fun days off
✤ Staying at least half and preferably all of the work season
-
